You can buy then new from a BMW dealer, however, not on their own as they come attached to the plastic trim. A bit of a con but there we have it. Got mine recently.

Off the top of my head I can't remember as I purchased 2 with two sill covers and not at home at the moment. I'll try and find out.

Pleasure. Not done it yet as away a lot but I'd imagine only a few screws. I thought cheap to but a nice surprise for brand new.

Hi all - a quick interrupt on this post.

Seems like the price is going up for the sills from BMW (black plastic sill and aluminium roadster sign) to skywards of £70 each side. Personally I only need the aluminium strips which are in corroded condition, but they don't come separately.

Anyone know of any aftermarket places to get these? I have otherwise been in touch with an aluminium 'etching' company who could replicate the design, but have quoted over £300 to make the initial set, after which it would become cheaper to buy the already designed units if there was enough interest.
