Looking at clear side indicators; I found this pack of 4, anyone tried these, or, is there an alternative that is guarantted 'not shitty' :)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271857353637

What about the 'smoked' versions that might look nice -- are they MOT friendly?

As a matter of fact, is there a list of non-oem parts that are known 'non shitty'? Stuff like BMW badges etc...

I fitted clear ones on my Z3, but as a part of the whole picture. All chrome headlights and my car had the exterior and interior chrome pack, chrome outer door handle covers (quality ones from Germany) All fitted with LED bulbs too. As for quality of non OEM parts it's really a trial and error thing. If they don't feel "right" send them back!

Ok so I think I'll try the smoked kit, as they will 'fade' nicely in the Oxford Green -- for the other two, I'll try a pair and hope for the best...

@t-tony, I also have the chrome pack, chrome door handles and so on, however how to you clean the couldiness of them? the windscreen surround is chrome, and I tried a bit of T-cut, but it still comes back a bit cloudy...

Sorry mate, I'm no help with that particular problem as my Oxford Green car did not have the chrome screen surround. There are several members who do, so someone will be able to help I'm sure. @PHILIP BAXTER

Smoked but I'm biased as I'm selling mine ;)

Looks great on a dark car, cleans up the look.

The bulbs they come with aren't very bright but you can use you existing or get some brighter Phillips brand bulbs. I think you can get LED now too

Long way to go for bulbs man. Especially if they made in China anyway, think of the carbon footprint!

Hi @buze and @t-tony, I don't really give the chrome on my car any special treatment. The odd bit of chrome cleaner now and again.
I don't have the chrome windscreen surround on my car though.

Well I ordered a set from the original message, and will just change the four lights. Need now to read @5harp3y thread on the LED relay thing as I could just install LED and be done with it!
