Interesting run if Google maps is right really tight on time I just looked there on my phone and it puts it at 445 mile 8hr 17 mins
Whereas the sunset sunrise times only give you 6hr 54 mins .
I'd love to know if it's doable.
If you go ahead keep us all posted I would definitely be following with interest.

Time was I would've been fishing on the Trent on that day till I couldn't see to fish any longer. If you do it I'll be keeping tabs

It can be - and has been - done. The PH thread is from last year. The first guys arrived at 0345:wideyed:. I dread to think how they did it.

I've googled it as well and it doesn't look possible - but that's the challenge. It'll be the first challenge that I've done that doesn't look possible at the start. All the others have just been a case of proving the maths is right - this one will be proving the maths is wrong:whistle:.

It's nearly 1,000 miles door-to-door.

Nope, you need an addition you your licence for night flying which I don't have, and neither of the aircraft I have access to are equipped for night flight either!

However, if we could and we could get the clearances for a straight line flight in the "bipe", 360 miles cruising at about 100mph, with no headwind and one fuel stop, just over 4 hours! Do keep up chaps!

Need to average over 60mph (including stops). Might be doable at night, but you could be using public transport for some time afterwards.;)
