Announcement Server Maintenance 4th/5th January 2018

Hi all,

Just some warning that work is going on in the background which may cause some outages during the period.

The site is moving to a newer build of the server software, along with a few configuration changes. You won't notice any difference in the forum itself, but it should run much quicker afterwards.

I'll do my best to update you with more precise timings all as James progresses with the work, but can't guarantee that.

See how we go with the new setup. We have added more server side stuff for performance which we may need to tweak so let us know if you see anything out of the ordinary

Seems to be an issue uploading images over a certain size, just looking in to it now...

IMAGE UPLOAD UPDATE:

Still looking at it, seems to be images over 2MB which are causing the error. Just looking in to the server settings at the moment, to see if one is overriding the 15MB allowed setting.

Will update you as I know more...
