Hi all,

I've been on the site before a couple of times, however I'm posting this in the introduction section as I wasn't sure how to post an item any other way.

I'm in the very early stages of selling my wonderful Z3. I've so enjoyed it since buying it in 2015, however my lifestyle has changed and I am progressing with my wanderlust desires of owning something like a VW Caddy Campervan conversion, and taking off!

The car is in good condition (1997 model) however I know the rust is increasing and sadly I'm unable to keep up with the maintenance. I've spent quite a bit on the car in the past year or so - new exhaust, new clutch (fly wheel axis - many thanks to everyone's help on this last year), new fan belt, brakes, etc...

I'm not sure of it's value, any help/advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

And the best way of going about selling it to someone who will care for it...

The car has had a new top (blue) since then.....

Many thanks,

Sarah

PS - I shall be out for most of the weekend and will get back to any replies asap.

It looks like a nice unmolested original car in a good colour Sarah. Is it the M44 1.9? Heated seats, aircon? Note rear BMW spoiler. Mileage? MOT length? Service history?

If all these things (mine has for comparison, also 1997 model), I paid £2500 to a dealer 12 months ago (70K miles), so (subject to inspection) around £2K would seem fair to me as a private sale.

Just my thoughts, hope they help.

Hi Ian,

This is great, many thanks for your reply and help and advice. I don't have all the paperwork on me at the moment, it's a 1.9 however it doesn't have heated seats or aircon. Mileage 123,000. I don't have the full service history, and only MOT history since I bought it. Thank you so much, real help. Sarah

IMO it is worth in the region of £1200-£1500 max mainly due to mileage
