hi everyone, selling my z3, i will put a link to the post when i got the car, i bought the car to put back on the road after being stood for 2-3 years, it was bought from GB OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST LONG JUMPER AND STRICTLY STAR. so his name is on the logbook as previous owner., any interest, drop me a message, mileage about 63k and mot about.7 months., all brand new discs and pads,2 new tires, other 2 are mint. new battery, wipers,plugs, car running well, the bonnet is no longer shiney [again]. looking for offers about £1500

£1500 taking into acount it needs the bonnet paint sorting and the hood re-staining again but its still in good shape. they are the bad points but the good points are only 63k miles and owned by a celeb.

i know, thought slk might be a swear word on here, to be honest as you see from the pics, i have no garage or car port and i have to park it across from me at times due to using my vivaro for work and so many leaves fall on it and its a nightmare to keep clean. an slk electric hard top has took my fancy. i am going to sell the zed but i know px value will be not too favourable so thought i would try here...its a good car. needs to go before end of month as thats when i get the slk.

I'd forget about the celeb status and concentrate on the cars good points! Celebs rarely look after their cars...

My friend bought a car from another Canadian gold medalist who autographed it and payed a fortune for it thinking he could make some $$$ in a couple of years. Ended up giving it to his grandson when no one would even give him $1500 for it!! Lesson learned the hard way. Celebs cars are not a real selling feature unless it's a real collector car to start with!JMO JIM
