I need to remove the leather cover off the seat to repair it and also sort the non working heating. My question is is the guide just fastened to the leather and doesn`t need to be removed to be able to remove the cover? Thanks Alec

Hi, just replaced mine. The guide has two moulded pins top and bottom, these pass through the leather and then there is a hard flat plastic part that the pins pass through, it is then fastened with two star washers which push onto the pins. Basically the leather is clamped between the two partsIMG_20200619_150320.jpg

Thanks Ken, it`s not the guide that needs replacing but that answers my query perfectly. The stitching across the middle of the seat base leather has come apart so I need to take the leather completely off to have it restitched.
