18 is to big for a narrow body and like the ride on standard 16" and bigger would need new tyres expensive.

18" work well on a narrow body, tyres needn't be expensive, Pirelli P Zero Nero all around 225/40/18 on the front, 255/35/18 on the rear £376, made the car feel so much better on the road, then Lee & co worked their magic now its even better still.

The clunky look is i think because they are 16's the centre caps are only made like that for gen rims they are bigger for ac rims then stock bm.
I can not find any centre caps that fit mine other than after market all gen caps are way to big so i believe them gen as not possible to fit any other way and believe me i have looked !

If you look at the first set they are a rep set the centre cap is bmw size the 16's its far bigger
The cap to stud spacing is small on the 16's not the 18's and as they are both bmw stud pattern it indicates a gen rim in my view.

They are defo genuine as i have the rear pics and are stamped ac schnitzer .....
But he clear knows not what he sells as they are 15's 7j et30 will fit a zed and are probably quite a comfy ride !!
Explains the clunky look even more but still a great price for some gen wheels if they fit your need.

They are a nice wheel at a great price - and easy cleaned too!
