Well Folks, 1st full day of Sandy's retirement. I took her out for lunch, Roadside cafe, bacon butty and a mug of tea. Tonight I let her have the TV handset, once in a lifetime shouldn't be too bad and with a bit of luck I'll persuade her to go to bed early. I've never been married to an old age pensioner before so life could become interesting. I'm looking forward to being organised as only Sandy knows how to do.

I'll keep you all posted on progress Folks

This OAP thanks you all for your good wishes in my retirement! Thoroughly enjoyed my last day at work, Folks. I was spoilt rotten with loads of cards, gifts and flowers!!! They even arranged a surprise meal at our local Wildwood restaurant for all the staff, it was so embarrassing when they stood up and clapped as I arrived!! My Boss gave a glowing speech about me being the kindest, most caring and thoughtful person she'd ever known!!! Funny, she didn't mention anything like that, when I asked for time off for holiday about 3 months ago!!!!

I am very lucky, as Mike has been treating me today, because it is my first day as a Lady of Leisure!!! Which, I note he hasn't mentioned, that he has been a kept man for the last year, with me doing the keeping!!! No doubt the novelty will wear off soon. As for organising, little does he realise, I will soon be making his life hell!!!!

We have an appointment with the Solicitor for signing contracts on the 8th, Mary. All we will need then is an exchange date, hopefully for 27th!!!

Mike will need until then, just to clear the Garage!!!
