Sad news - JR

I have just been informed that John Rowley (JR) passed away this afternoon. He had been suffering from bladder cancer but seemed to be on the mend. In October he had a stroke and it was discovered he had a brain tumour.

A few of us visited him at home last Wednesday and he was very poorly but this afternoon sadly he passed away.

A lot of you will remember JR as he was always attending the drives arranged on here.

JR was a thoroughly nice bloke with a real passion for Zeds and driving them, and met him many times on Zed events.

Such a shock, to hear this very sad news, we knew about his health but thought he was on the mend,
Last time we saw him at the mill meeting he was his usual happy and jolly self and living life to the full.
Me n Andrea will always remember him with great fondness, and he will always be my hero had many a laugh on our drives chasing each other.
