Route planner for road trips

I’m trying to find an app that I can load a number of different destinations into, select a route that suits me and then use this route the following day, or share with others.
Clearly google maps / waze are the go to app, but when I alter the route, and then share the route, it reverts back it’s preferred route and not mine!
Is there an app that others use to plan a road trip, select the route and then share the route, without it defaulting to its own preference?
