Remote locking

Hello can anyone help with remote locking suddenly stopped working!! 1999 2.0l Z3 new battery fitted in the key and red light flashes when you press to lock but nothing ?
Was working with no problems !! Help please

Thankyou for your reply , did a search on the internet and found that after changing the battery in the key the key needs to be reprogrammed to the car !! Found the process on YouTube!! and now it’s all working !! Thankyou

Just remember that after coding one key you must repeat the sequence on all other keys you have for the car immediately after each other so they all get synced to the EWS module.
