Recommended Non genuine actuator

Hi are there any non genuine door actuators that are reliable I can buy before I take the hit on buying genuine bmw ones?

Actuator? Are we talking C/L solenoid? If so and if we're talking Z3, I got mine from ECP several years ago.

Hi yes that’s what I was talking about. I’ll have a look at what they stock

Ok I’ve done some fault finding and I’ve realised my actuators / solenoids are all working perfectly.
I have seen on my key lock mechanism that a clip which holds the lock rod has broken. There is also what looks like a very small grommet which looks like it’s slipped down the rod from where the lock barrel turns. This has made the mechanism loose and wouldn’t trigger the solenoid.
I have attached a picture of the broken clip (green arrow).

Does anyone know where I can get one of these? Or is it a whole door lock unit I have to buy?

Yes that’s what I need. Mine is broken causing the rod to not engage when I turn the key

Clip arrived today and my central locking is now working perfectly. Awesome thank you
