Rain coming in.

The recent downpours have uncovered a little leak, i trend to get this big sides where the roof meets the A pillar. There is a slight gap and it just drips. It’s nothing major but would nice to fix.
My roof latches are threaded as you can also see in the pics so wondering if it’s simple case of winding these in to pull the roof tighter ?? I have no issues anywhere else .
Thoughts anyone ??

First I would treat the rubber seal with some
Gummi Pflege
rubber conditioner, to plump up the seal and see if that stops the leak. If it still leaks then maybe the window needs adjusting to bring it tighter to the seal, there are threads on here detailing how you adjust the window. Adjusting the hood levers would move it forwards or backwards against the seal, looks like it needs a lateral adjustment so window adjustment more likely to snug the glass up against the seal.

There is a small rubber "plug" on the top of the A pillar moulding that tends to open up a little and let water in. Fixed mine recently with a little black silicone. Simples first!

I tried Gummi Pflege initially but it didn't swell the rubber enough to seal the leak, I've also tried removing the rubber plugs and cleaning them up but that didn't do the trick either.

I finally bought some clear silicone sealant from ToolStation for less than a fiver and ran a bead inside the rubber plug on both sides, this stopped the leak, and is an invisible repair. I've since driven the zed through some awful weather and the passenger and drivers seat are both bone dry.

Easiest thing to do is push the old grommet at the top of each A pillar in and fill out neatly with clear silicone. Both mine used to leak and never had a problem since.

I super-glued some neoprene to the seal to make it slightly longer, and trimmed the excess.

A collection of different thicknesses only cost £5.

Take the bung out, clean the hole and the bung and re-glue with bicycle puncture repair glue making sure the bung in level with the surround, that should fix it, sorted mine.

Sorry for the delay not been on for a few days. Open the roof and the grommets are at the top of each A pillar to each side of the windscreen.

From info & research, fill the circle and make sure the drain hole arrowed is clear of debris
