Recently been doing a front end rebuild on a Fiat and had a question.
The original rad has this little plastic piece on the coolant reservoir - this is sealed and there's no access between it and the coolant reservoir - so coolant can't seep out from here - not sure why it's there in the first place if I'm completely honest.
The replacement rad (which is brand new) has this same plastic piece but doesn't appear to be sealed and so when filled with coolant, some of the coolant began dribbling out from here.
My question is, would it be safe given the size of the hole to seal it up with a small rubber hose, a screw and a hose clamp to go on either of that hose.
Or should I look at getting another radiator?
