I have seen some of the projector headlights for the Z3 on a site in califonia. Firstly i wondered if they are only for the American market for which i have sent a message and secondly as it states for Z3, does it mean they are the same as the M, as i think the sidelights are incorporated in the non M cars. Has anyone bought from overseas and fitted them with no mot problems. ;)

I bought my set through Simon @ JustRoadster.com. No issue at all with fitting as he supplies them with his own basic instructions.

Been through MOTs with them fitted no problem.

The ones I had did have an extra side light bulb in the main lights in case you don't have side marker lights. I didn't bother with these as mine had side markers.

I've had two sets on two Z3's and never had an issue woth MOT's

I have a fitting guide on .net knowledgebase.

I bought my first set off an american through eBay and they were shipped direct from Tiawan. They are all made there and they are all the same so there are no differnet versions. All Z3's share the exact same fittings for headlights with the only variable being the very early cars with the sidelights built into the headlight rather then the bumpers but these can accommodate these as well but for most they are not needed.

I bought my second set from Simon at Justroadster. He was a little more expensive but I figured it was worth it given he is a UK seller and great bloke so I had somewhere to go re the warranty if there was a fault.

Thanks guys for the replies. I have seen Justroadster and i agree with warranty issues but the reason i asked was the site in america had a sale and they were £155, not sure of the postage but thought might be a bargain. ;)
