I thought i would share the latest plates for sale at the auction
I find it easier to register and do an absentee bid
Some great plates for sale, or to put on your wish list
Its worth noting that after the sale, the plates not sold
are offered as per the listed/starting price, for come :cool:

I still wish I hadn't let my plate go. I can't get it back either as its been issued once and they won't reissue it again.

It was M80 ARD. I spoke to the DVLA and they say unless the rules/laws change then it wouldn't be reissued but that's not to say it will never change. 80ARD was for sale a while back but haven't got the 5k they wanted for that :D

This registration M80ARD was first registered during the period August 1994 to July 1995.
The registration was first registered in Reading.

Of interest
i had to go via google to reply IE must be playing up?

I wonder how that worked then as I bought it from the dvla in 2001 I think it was so don't understand why I now can't get it back again.

They are the reg dates of an M reg car plus RD is the area where it would be first registered or the area it was allocated to. It does not mean that it was actually used at the time as the DVLA may well of held that particular reg back. My private plate is an L reg but was not bought from the DVLA until 2008 which is when it was first registered to any car.

My private plate is an L reg but was not bought from the DVLA until 2008 which is when it was first registered to any car.
So if my plate was first registered to my car then could I possibly get it re registered back to the car again? It obviously wouldn't be the original plate for the car when the car was registered but just a thought.

I never got the chance to show my plate on my van
And it is legally spaced
I had just had the van mopped/detailed by the guy who did my ///M,
not bad a 16+ year old Work Van, I do look after my tools
