I answered an ad on another BMW forum for a Z3 for inclusion in a forthcoming edition of Practical Classics magazine and have been chosen. I'm off to Derby on Friday for the photoshoot so will let you know how I go on.

Looks as if the Zed's may be getting the recognition we know they deserve.

Thanks for that Nero. In this case it in a Studio so no driving involved. I doubt if I would have gone for it if others were to drive, I've seen Clarkson playing to risk it but thanks for the reminder.

Well had a good day out today and it was a sunny but cold so had the roof down once I had thawed the frost off it!!

Arrived at the studio which has a turntable to position the car as he wanted. The photo's took about 3 hours to complete. Just a couple of one’s I took.

I will find out which issue the article is going to be in and let everyone know.

i thought it looked good but it will be even better when photoshop has been at it!

He took about 30 photo's and I will get a copy of them, the file will be too big to email so will get a CD.

Just got the disc with photos on and they have come out well I think. These are some of the low res copies.

I've taken the photos off as the full spread will be in the March '14 issue

Really nice pictures.
Not possible to beat the hand of a real pro photographer.

How many hours did you spent to get everything that clean (including the engine bay)?
Or have they corrected the images with photoshop?
Because I know a pro photographer, and even for stunning cars, they still need to do corrections to get rid of unwanted reflections, etc.
