Give it a good wash and polish and recoupe your money and then some I'd say.

If I recall they suffered from gearbox problems. Assuming that's ok it maybe a punt worth taking.
A mate of mine had an S2 and yes it was a beast and generally reliable but it consumed everything at an alarming rate! Fuel, oil, brakes, tyres! I remember the electrics were always giving grief.
I used to have one of these same model 4.5 not the s. It was ok not very fast really and the interiors rot mine was half leather with a Lairy cloth insert and all the cloth was falling apart. Timing belts are expensive to change. My mate at the same time had a manual 4.7s now that was a beast a totally different kettle of fish.

It's worth more for parts at the money, the doors fetch good money, as do the rest off the bits,I couldn't break it though as there a work off art.
It must have been driven by someone with a lead fut!
