Pegasus bridge

Not zeds unfortunately but these two are absolutely stunning.......and soft tops.....and had U.K plates.

They both looked as though they had been freshly refurbed.

I was there in the morning, having visited the D Day Sword beach first thing. 5pm ferry from Le Havre. Enjoy the rest of your stay in France.

Thanks mate, we came out here on Monday, early ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg. Which is ideal for the Normandy sites.
We're off on one of Barbara's mystery tours tomorrow, a bit of country side cruising and visiting a beach for a picnic.

After we visited the Pegasus bridge site, we went for a coffee just just across the river via the new bridge. Lovely little cafe/bar but it didn't have a w.c, so they directed me to a public loo a short walk up the road. To say it was spacious is an understatement..........

in full view of the traffic and people walking past .

There was an even worse one than that we saw on Thursday near Mont St Michel.
At an American themed burger bar where we stopped for something to eat.
A portaloo with the door fixed open and it was simply a hole in the floor with foot prints either side, no wash basin again .
