Today saw the arrival of "Cybill" - Topazblue outside & in, 2.0 with low mileage. We've been waiting a long time for this day; having seen some very "neglected" one's, I kept going back to this seemingly cherished Zed!!! First stop: Fresh Oil (filter, o-rings etc a la Mike Fishwick!!!), now looking forward to the impending good weather for some drive-outs; where will we go?...

How lovely to meet Cybill finally. I'm guessing the name came from the number plate?

It's a sad fact there are so many neglected Z3's out there now, and choosing a good one is becoming harder to do. I picked my 2001 18 months ago, and to be honest I felt a little sad for it and couldn't leave it on the forecourt. Neglected but had plenty of promise, slowly getting there but much still to do...

Yes, you're right there - in a way it makes you want to take all of them home for some well deserved TLC - I thought it was just me!!!

The name Cybill; well yes, that just stuck because of the reg as you say - we're clearly all Zed-Mad; but I like it!!!

Hi and welcome, nice looking car in one of the best colours. plenty of events coming up, Duxford and the New Forest run in the near future.
Great - Duxford is only an hour & a half or so from me, the New Forest may mean an overnight in Southampton (ish) - do you know when dates will be posted? Regards, Drk
