Unsure why you needed to make a soap box speech about it...

But, anyway, thank you @Jack Ratt for pointing out the mistake, I read the first post round the wrong way.

Just so you are all aware. Apparently it's okay for @GazHyde to say "Unsure why you needed to make a soap box speech about it..." when all I'm trying to do is help bottom out a much-misunderstood issue.

But it's not okay for me to say "FFS get off my back" after growing tired of @GazHyde 's put downs towards me. Apparently I now have a warning and the threat of a 2 week ban.

I've moved these posts from the original thread for the obvious OT element.

As mrscalex has raised some concerns over my treatment of him, which I am more than happy to publicly put on the record. Normally warnings and moderation are done in private, but in this case it's seems that some publicity is required so I'll go along with it.

However, I will point out that a warning has already been issued, and several PM's have been bounced about in the background. For complete clarity this is the contents of the initial warning message.
Absolutely no need for either of your responses to me on that thread. I'm not, nor have I ever been on your back. If I were on your back, you'd likely be sitting out a 2 week ban from now.

I would seriously reconsider having a go at me like that on my forum again.
Unsure where this thread goes from here, but whatever, I'll let it run....

OK,

Firstly Gary admitted he made a mistake and read the original thread wrong. So what am I missing here apart from a general error. The seat loom will depend upon the age of the car and when the cross over took time some cars were produced with newer style seats and older looms and the other way around. Hence why that cable exists. I have seen facelift cars with the older cables and non facelift with the newer seats. Maybe just maybe we should focus the energy in helping to solve the problem rather than ending up in a nasty word exchange.

Also for one, If Gary decided to pull the plug, the forum would go off line and nothing we could do about it. So I actually think that makes it 'his' in a roundabout way. The hours the moderators put in and the cost of running is all from voluntary sources, so think on it when you decide to have a spat as he can literally hit the ban hammer. He is though I would hope more grown up when it comes to such activities.

Rant over..

I’m happy to leave this thread here. Other forum members can make their own mind up on the rights and wrongs of what’s been said.
