While I was slaving over a hot mower this morning a bright orange Lotus Elise came through Torksey Lock driven by a young man wearing a yellow cap. Anyone on here?

Tony.

You could join the Lotus forum and ask them if they've seen a Zed...

Sorry Tony wasn't me this time :( - but was close as went via A57 through to Ollerton and the peaks.

Interestingly on the A57 a car a couple in fornt of me shed its front o/s tyre just as I was going to pass em  Not what you need to see in your direct line - a tyre rolling down the road. Think it delaminated as there was still rubber on the wheel.

Saw a couple of Zeds today - silver one in Edwinstowe on the way out, Red one on A57 and black one along there too - wondered if it was anyone here tbh.

I did see an orange elise though going the other way as I came home so it may have been him.

Tragedy struck with Kamra kicking in too on the way home, narrowly missed a stone to the forehead/eye from the car in front

not happy at all - happened near Mansfield coming home - nearly dropped in at Torksey to hoover glass out :)

dreading having to get it sorted. :grumpy:

You would've been more than welcome mate. Happy to hear you were not injured though.

Tony.

Thanks guys - especially Tony :)

The joys of open topped motoring - have heard its rear clam removal job, as the screen is bonded in under the rollbar. Labour gonna be big so checking insurance doc. to make sure all glass is covered.

You guys have this easier with the screen in the hood - or tintop folding.

Glad you were ok Toby, would have been like a bullet...

I managed to get a shot of the Milk Float on the way back, apparently his name is Earnie and he is pretty quick...

Hi @Toby, HT puts my avatars on for me as the mood strikes him. I think the last was flowers or something similar but I pay little attention and it makes him happy. This one was due to my complaints about abnormally high snow levels here last year. The most I've seen in my 68 years! JIM
