I have been looking around for a nice ///M and there is one for sale
in Swansea area on E bay, Blue listed as showroom condition and to
be fair the photo's look good.
BUT, it has 125K on the clock but has a new engine which has done 40K
Whats the view of fellow zedders about the new engine bit?
Oh its up for sale at £7990. Lookig forward to resale would this put you
off buying? :-?

Theres better out there for that sort of money... One just sold for 8K with only 41k from new.. mines only done 69k and like new and i didnt even pay that much for it..
I would suggest holding out for a members car as you can pick up a real beauty for less..

Even though the engine hasnt done 125k the rest of the car has.... not worth 8k in my eyes..

Erm.. :-? No s:razz

You will find one.. and you will know when you have found the right one..
I nearly bought one near me.. im so glad i waited as it was a bag of nails compared to the one i bought..
Id recomend looking at a few first before you make up your mind.. and go with your gutt feeling.. if you look at one and your gutt feeling is unsure walk away.. dont let the M badge glaze over you as there are near perfect examples out there..

Good luck with your search s:D

Great advice to look at a few as it will help you know when you have found a good one ;-)

Make sure you drive them as well even if you don't like the look of them. A tatty car can still drive great and will help you tell when a car "feels" right or wrong.

I agree that £8k is way too much for that spec in this market at this time of year
