Slade were really massive back in the day. When they played at Wolverhampton Civic Hall the traffic was backed up 10 miles back to Dudley. They drew as big a crowd as Wolves did.

Saw them in 1974 and Status Quo were the backing group

Noddy Holder is one of the best front men ever.

Slade's live albums are great driving albums, but like Tony said, you gotta play em loud

We saw Slade at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln Garry, back in the day. My ears were ringing for a week. It's a small venue but was packed.
