Well I have now sold my Z3 2.2 but I have replaced it with a couple of other cars.

This will be on it's way very soon:eek:

I am having a TR5 nut and bolt restored and while having a progress look I couldn't resist buying another car at the garage, so I now have two Triumph TRs

See if you can see the difference.

Car 2

This one also has the hard top insert for the Surrey top (if you thought Z3 hard tops were expensive, think again!)

The difference between the the two is roughly £40k.

Car 1 is the TR5 and car two is a TR4A, both made in 1967. the only real difference between them is that the TR4A has a 4 cylinder 2.13l twin carb engine and the TR5 a six cylinder 2.5l petrol injection one.

TR5

I'm afraid that the TR5 will be a bit of a garage queen coming out for concours shows and events, the TR4A will be the one that takes the place of the Z3.

All three cars look great. The TR4/5 was always my favourite of TRs.

Very nice. I've not seen a z in that colour combo before, looks great. Are they all red by coincidence?

Agree, Still miss my TR after3 yearssame colour & top now in Dorset being pampered.
Might have asked you before but do you belong to the TR Register which ios a good set up to be part of for info. One of their members in Norfolk is doing a full nut and bolt rebuild of the one off "Conrero" with all s[ecial parts. Enjoy Geoff

Yes Geoff, I am in the TR Register and on the forum. As with the ZRoadster set up if you own one of the cars then it makes sense to be part of the 'Hive', the collective mind is a very useful resource. I also use the TR insurance.
