Those roll hoops are cheap arn't they? Been looking for ages for a sensibly priced set. Would I need to then puchase trims etc to make them fit?

You'd need the complete rear trim set

Yes you will need the metal bases for these to fit into.

Sorry mate, I've no idea to be honest. It's worth asking the seller what else is included with them. Alternatively you could always be cheeky and ask Andy @spurs fan in a coupe he has some for sale at the moment!

I couldn't afford Andys to be honest. He's just sold a set for £300. These are affordable. I've sent him a message.
Thanks Tony.

As a set on there own are they worth buying and putting away until I can get a set of trims? I understand some cars have the metal housings already fitted at the factory?

I understand so, but when I fitted the so called style bar on my2000 year car it didn't have the inner (which are lower and take the long leg of the hoop) ones fitted. So yours may or may not have them, I've seen articles which state you can weld mounts or bolt them on.

Tony.

I understand the metal poles (can't remember the official name) can be added if needs be. I've sent the seller a message through gumtree asking if there are any trims available with them. I think I'll buy them anyway and put them away until I see any trims etc I may need. They'd be no rush to fit them although Jue would like them in situ ready for the euro cruiae,if you'd like to find out how they fit you'd be welcome to get involed lol!!! :D

This is what a full set looks like, lots of trims and fixings, but some I'm sure could be fabricated from what you have fitted, but the storage box would be the part that would need to be butchered.

Not trying to take over this thread so send a PM if you need any details.

Cheers

Andy

Should have said, note the trims that cover the cavities needed to access the bolts that wind on (tighten up) to keep the roll hoops secured safely in place, bits like this will be the main PITA

Thanks Andy. No hijacking mate, I appreciate your help. There's lots of bits there, why would someone only sell the hoops if all that kit is required? Seems a bit daft to me.

For want of a better description, 3rd picture.... either side of the 3 bolts - 2 different cavity covers, one external in the turret cover, the other narrower one is from inside the centre upper storage box.
