Hello Zedders

Finally going to get some history together for Sunny
I called BMW HQ and they confirmed I can buy a new service book from my local BMW dealer but will need to be sent to the two Stratstone dealers one in Hull and the second in Chesterfield
I am so pleased this can be done so I can be a geek like @Mnbrennan and start building a file up of history

For a small fee @BMBabe you can request the previous owner history from the dvla. A letter to the past owners could be worth shot.

Did BMW give you the details of the services done by BMW dealers?

That would be handy as I have a stamp missing and would like to find out where the car was serviced.

The chap gave me all the dates of all the visits recorded with Bmw dealers

did you use VIN or reg plate?

Used the reg didn't have my V5 with me

Reg might have changed but not been updated on BMW System, give them the last 7 of your VIN and that should work as that never changes

(i used to work for BMW UK and we';d get dozens of history requests but always needed VIN to make sure)

Chesterfield BMW not so helfull they won't send me anything due to data protection
Well I said can't you just copy the info and delete the address

Waiting for a call back from a supervisor
