Old Buckenham Airfield have released the date for their Spring Wings and Wheels Event

A few of us tried to get here this year (2016) but the event got cancelled due to weather.

Anybody up for 2017?

• Meeting point - UPDATED - Bunns Bank Industrial Area - located on the B1077 between Attleborough & Old Buck village - NR17 1QD - There is a long tarmac road leading into this estate and about 300yds on this road is a disused concrete car park on the left - there are speed bumps on this road though, so you'd have to be a bit careful! This is about 3 miles from the airfield.

• Contact name at OldBuck if any queries on the gate - Matt Wilkins (he confirmed new Zeds were OK)

Suggest Main party get in reasonably early and save spaces for any stragglers. When I took my brothers car in 2015, I didn't meet his club before entry and they hadn't saved a space, so his car was parked away from the group. It was a bit of a free-for-all parking in the classic bit.

It is a Sunday but I never know with my job if I get every Sunday off.
Won't know until after Xmas but certainly interested if free.

I can't remember exactly where you said you lived, somewhere around Htchin wasn't it? Old Buck is on the A11 half way between Theford and Norwich. About 80 miles each way for you. A505 the A11, mostly dual carriageway. About 1 hour if you really try!

I'll put you on the list as a maybe!

I have read lots on this site about your famous cakes @Shelly but never been in the right place / lucky enough to have a slice. Am hoping 30th April will be the day....only 192 days to wait....and counting. Its a bit like waiting for Christmas.
