Well this is it... No zedding for me for a while. ☹
Next Wednesday I start my fight with the big C and they say that after the op I can’t drive for 3 months!
What am I going to do?? I bet it will be a really sunny 3 months now!
A bit shitty when a stupid tumour gets between you and top down driving!
I suppose I will just have to sit in the driving seat and imagine all the great country lanes around here.
Hope to be well enough to attend Zedfest though!

Bummer. I hope it goes well for you.. You are more than welcome to attend the H4H event if you can get a lift. As its only down the road for you.

Thanks for that.
I am down on the list to attend as I booked it before all this happened. If well enough I will still try to get there.

Very best of luck mate, it can be beaten, my old man (78) has beat it a few times over the last decade and is still on the go.

I can vouch for that... beat it in 2010 and again in 2011

At least you have this forum to keep you in the Zed zone whilst you recover :)

All the best!
Glad you beat it! It is reassuring to know it can be overcome. Rest assured I will be on this forum during my hospital stay.

@Dalek wishing you the very best from me and Shirl. A speedy recovery afterwards. When I had my heart operation 10 years ago I had my Eunos to keep me sane even though I wasn't allowed to drive it. Not allowed the play darts or even go fishing for 3 months till the breast bone healed.

Tony.

ps. If boredom gets a hold shout out for conversation on here. I definitely will when I need a new valve in the future.
