No more opposite cars exist and I love them both!

I finally had my Dream car. 1962 Dart Max Wedge, I had wanted it forever. The car makes me happy, it gets the looks, runs GOOD, and thought it was the best car for me, ever. But I had also wanted a sports car and tried various British cars, even a TR8, never felt like I knew I would make home. I had always like the looks of the Z3, so after looking a long time I had a beautiful example almost dropped on my door and I had the money. I bought the car with 13,500 miles on it, with out evening driving it. The first time I drove it, it felt so good! I like everything about it, I was almost opposite of everything my Dart was, but I liked it just as much. Let's just say since I have had the Z, the Max has not left the garage. I have almost 14,000 miles on it and don't think I will ever get rid of it! The only place I would rather have my Dart is at the Drags, Man is that thing fast, just don't try to go around a turn! I love them both!

To be fair you guys do have some long straight roads on your side of the pond and the old "Yank Tanks" were built for them. Sadly on our little island there isn't the room for them so we had to make cars that corner well too. But, boy isn't it so enjoyable to be able to do both. You're a very lucky guy. That Dart looks like a great car!

The Zs have been underrated for years but I think they're now coming into there own, shame the motoring press haven't got much of a clue about what the public actually want in a sports car, in my opinion BMW got it riight first time and are still getting it right, so glad you like your Z and have joined us. Best advert for a Z Brian is seeing one on the track or seeing a convoy of them off to a meet,must make people wonder just how good they really are. When the penny actually drops there won't be many really good ones left. What surprises me most is just how many real old school petrol heads have gone down the Z route recently and are so surprised at how good the Z is. Where on earth have they been ?. Rha, Roy.

@Rah I always liked the look of the z3 but if my Trinity hadn't decided we needed one I don't know if I would have one let alone two!! I'm very happy with my M44 1.9 and don't know if I'd even go for a six cyl. There are few choices for roads where I live so the little engine that could is fine for the type of driving I do in it. I have several small and big block Chev engined cars if speed is needed plus my 66 mustang! JIM
