Hey good evening just joined the sight I have purchased a 1999 I thought bmw z3 that turns out to be a 1998 with a 1.9l engine. Found out by a oil change and the filter it was originally sent to Saudi Arabia but is now in Colorado I have registered it with bmw in the United States but it’s still not in the vin system anywhere however it’s titled 1999 I’ll be asking a few questions! But thanks for the group

Try putting the last 7 letters and figures of your Vin number in Realoem site here
Should bring back all the parts diagrams for your actual car as it left the factory.
