Toyota Supra looks amazing and new Z4 is not even worthy of the Z badge

Nope I hate it :nailbiting:
Sorry I just couldn't hold back :p
Yes I could tell lol.
I do like it but not as a Zed. It looks ok in it's own right, I think it looks very very Merc.

I actually quite like it. The one at the bmw hq in September was what shifted my thoughts. Sounds great too.

I quite like the look of it but as I have said before, far too high tech for a sports car.

The hood up does't do it any favours. Some nice sculpting of the panels and bonnet that will look better when its dry (and sunny).
Rear end is a bit bulbous. Could do with being a few inches shorter. Just too much overhang.
Let's see what they're like to drive and with hood down. It's not a Z3 or E85, but then, design moves on. Far greater technology has to be employed to meet regulations. Brand management influences too makes cars from each marque look more alike.

BMW has always been distinctive and copied by others.
BMW z cars even more so, hard to mistake a Z of any generation for anything else.

But this?

Since when have BMW lights gone over the bonnet like the F type.

The grille on the car I saw at BMW was nasty cheap plastic not even fit for a KIA.

Now they doing the copying (and the originals look better than the BMW copy in some cases!)

Seem to have lost their way on the looks - and looks of a BMW are important.

Great to see another Z4 the more the merrier. Z3 owners need to realise not alll cars need to archaic

I have to agree Paul. I never liked the Z3 when it came out and I only bought one on a whim if I'm honest. I did grow to like it but I ended up with a Z4 which I honestly didn't like either on first impressions. To me the E85 is a far, far better daily drive car than a Z3, and for me that is what it has to be.
I only drove an E89 Z4 just over a week ago and I could soon grow very fond of one too. I would love to drive one of the new Z4s before casually writing them off as a cheap Toyota. Modern cars are exactly that, Modern.

Tony.

All Toyotas can now be fitted with M badges. The M badge manufacturers market has just increased considerably. Just a shame that the M badge has been totally devalued by BMW.:(

Imo this new z4 is a beast and I'd love one, in like 15+ years when I could afford it, having said that I doubt it would fit in my garage
