The TTRS went today after a year of good ownership, I'll miss the naughtyness of it, and the racket it made going through tunnels.

I've gone for a bit more luxury this time.

Lexus RC-F

It's a normally aspirated V8

It's got loads of toys including a Mark Levinson Audio system, I'd never heard of him either.

Lots of drive modes and settings I've got to work out.

I'll report back some more once I've had a decent drive.

Thank you for the kind comments.

I really have got to sit down and read the manuals, cant get the sat nav to stop, and I don't understand half the settings.

I'm still learning all the settings but happier now I've managed to customize a few.

The RC-F forum seems to be a friendly one, found out there are only 166 RC-F models in the UK and only two in my colour combination.

A pic of the engine, covered in plastic of course.

And now to work on the front end, a few stone chips to sort out.

It's a weird looking car, lots of people stare at it which is nice I suppose, but only because people don't know what it is.

My neighbours haven't moaned yet, maybe they like a bit of V8 grumble in the mornings.

People on the forum are talking me into a Quicksilver exhaust for it.

Mpg so far is 16.1mpg, ooops...

Wow, great choice. The best made, finest car I ever owned was an ls400 Lexus. Twenty years old but inaudible, no creaks or bangs on cobbled roads and it was really quick when needed...oh and EVERYTHING worked, including the electrically adjustable seat belt height! ! An ls600h will be my on my drive at some point..
