New Plates

Hi, have just sorted out the French registration for my Z3. A straight forward process as long as you have all the relevant documents ( and there are lots of them) the most important being the Certificate of Conformity and it certainly helps if it's in French

Thanks,it's the 1st Z3 IV owned, its a 3.0i manual, 2 owners from new with 64k on it. Unfortunately or fortunately it's got 18 inch black wheels which look the business but even after fitting Polly bushes and increasing the tyre pressures it still tram lines & is effected by poor road surface. So considering changing the wheels back to 16 or 17 inch wheels.

Hi, as we live here in South West France its law that you have to reg your car within 3 months. There are many folk that ignore this and insure there car in the U.K. Unfortunately if they have an accident & the insurance company prove that they are Domicile in France your not insured.

I believe if your intentions are to settle there you have to register your car on French plates.

Not wanting to go off topic but we would love to move to France at some point. @miller1098 is on commisson as he keeps trying to sell me his mates farm house!

I have 17" wheels. The tyres are a mixture at present, but I am waiting to have them refurbed, before I sort that out. I can't say i've noticed too much tram lining. Hopefully when the car gets back from the Zed Shed it will be even better.
