I am new to this forum. I am looking at buying a Z3; hopefully a 2 litre straight 6 with Air Con, heated seats and roll bars. Looking to pay 2-3K. Owned a brand new one of this spec back in 2000 for a couple of years and loved it. Although had lots of new BMWs since looking for this to be a third car for summer use. Any advice appreciated,

As you can see there history on maintenance and mods. As most are getting on a bit in the tooth if they’ve had the rear beam bushes changed saves a job to do and tightens up the rear end. On whatever your buying a wad full of receipts goes towards on how well a future purchase has been looked after.
