New Member - Looking for E89 35IS DCT Advice

Hi all

I’m looking for some advice i’m not new to BMW (currently have a 2006 130i), but looking for some advice regarding the E89 35IS DCT. Other than the usual scuffs and marks, is there anything in particular I should watch out for? Or common problems to be aware of?

The engine appears to be solid. But I’m conscious that if the gear box or roof mechanism isn’t reliable, it could become an expensive mistake.

Also what optional extras should I look out for? The loudspeaker and Nav are two things on my list already

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated

If you haven't already have a look at this e89 group, there is lots of info, you'll have to hunt for it amongst all the glamour shots though.
