Treated Bella to new boots all round today at Gates Tyres, Workington.
Front: 255/35Z18 AVON ZZ5 94Y XL £85 each
Rear: 225/40R18 AVON ZV7 92W £66.25 each

Ballance and tracking done and now runs sweat as very happy with them. New plugs, coil packs and fuel filter

Oh, and a new waterproof car cover as the garage roof has a couple of drips when lashing it down.

Had them when the car was on 17s, very good tyres indeed. Then had Falkens when I swapped to 19s, would have liked to stick to Avons, but they don't seem to do them in the larger size. Damn.

Was happy with the ZZ3s on there before, but they stopped making them. Made the mistake of having new tyres on the front for a short while before I had new ones on the back, drove the DTC crazy, flashing light/applying the brakes for me for no good reason at all. These cars are a bit too sensitive, I guess.

It's going to be a serious anorak that spots that, though. Most people don't bother looking at their own tyres, let alone someone elses.
