Does anyone remember These

I remember my dad having one and always made sure it was put back in the tin when he finished with it. He swore by it for lifting the dust off a clean car... anyone got one ?? and more to the point using one ??

Antique roadshow moment

Did they work on static electricity and the tin had something to do with it ?
Or am i thinking outside the box, no pun intended or a to futuristic idea

I remember working on a job in chelsea for a client
I remember she asked, did i want a cup of tea
I went into the kitchen, and Nanette Newman was sitting at the table
It turned out they were best friends
i just carried on as normal and acted like
i rubbbed shoulder with stars all the time :D :D

I remember them, ideal for a quick dust over of the paintwork, I think my Dad`s still got it in the garage.
Must admit I`ve been tempted to get a new 1

I think the idea is they are impregnated with nenette nenetol fluid (which you can buy separate as a top up) and keeping in the container is how it stays at it's best. I've just found this article in the Telegraph

Once a popular companion of classic-car enthusiasts, the Nenette duster brush is returning to Britain. Accessory specialist Hamilton Classic has succeeded in its long-standing quest to track down the French distributor in response to a flood of requests from owners of grubby Triumph Heralds.
Hamilton boss Alastair Flack says: "I have a stand at classic car shows and club events virtually every weekend and am asked about the Nenette more often than any other product."
The brush is steeped with Nenetol, a refillable liquid that absorbs dust while simultaneously adding lustre to the curves of your Austin Cambridge.

Right... I've ordered one.. good old fleabay... I clearly have a problem with dust in my garage.
