It sold for around £48k (plus fees) if I remember. I did watch the auction live but can't remember exact figures.

interesting!..Cheers Pond...I do like Harry and when he said Z3s had had a dip but are on the rise again, felt good!

So someone decided it was worth more than £50k then? I fear they may regret that decision.
Sorry but £65k for a bread van seems just ridiculous. It's been used aswell with 21,000 miles, so not like it has just come out of a time-warp wrapper.

I think the reserves on a lot of the cars were way too high. The auctioneers were taking an age to get through the lots, as were waiting for bidders to get near the reserves IMO.

The car presented here is a 2002 Z3M Coupé (S54) and is reportedly one of less than ten S54 examples produced in arguably the best and rarest BMW colour of Imola Rot (Imola Red), with an all-black leather interior.
I suppose it being an S54 & Imola Red makes it a bit more desirable?
