I had this a couple of years ago as a light resto, sold it after a few months as it was too slow I'm afraid!

Before that I had a Peugeot 309 Gti in Miami Blue, I stripped this out a bit and put updated brakes and Bilstein suspension on it and I used it on a couple of hillclimbs.

But my favourite car (and the one I regret selling most!!) was my Mk2 RS2000, I spent a few years getting it up to show standard and as you know the prices of these have gone through the roof in recent years!!

Love the 309 Gti, I'd love to own that car today.

Miami blue was quite rare for the them, most were red.

Friend at work had one like it Steve, looks were great after that, nothing to recommend one. Had the speed and handling of a cart horse.

Which car are you referring to Tony?
The 924 Matt, liked the Pug, I worked at the Peugeot dealer in Gainsborough, Lincs. and drove the very first 205 GTI off the transporter, only the 1.6 but it was fantastic like a roller skate. The Ford is a legend, bet you're wishing you still had that one!

Ah ok!
Yes the 924 was a bit of a pig, heavy steering and no real performance.

I'd love to still have the 309 and the rs2000!
I need at least a 10 car garage!

The saying was "two bits of board make a ford"
Not according to my old dad, he said " Four wheels and a board make a bloody good Ford"

If they are that good grumpy, why are you not driving one now?

The cosworth was one of my fav cars, but they look so dated now.

The z3 doesn't and won't date with its looks

Some nice cars, my friend had a 924.

I liked the shape of it, but it was known as the poor mans Porsche.
