Always loved Mercs but not into modern day stuff. BUT...........God I love the AMG range, and yes they sound awesome!

The signiture plaque is signed by the person who hand builds the engine. If that person goes away on holiday that engine stands until they return. A nice touch I think.

They are a truly amazing sound. When I worked for Mercedes we had a CLK black edition in the showroom. The sound was incredible when you fired it up.

I remember Clarkson tried to clear up this marketing idea: counting the engines build per year, each of these Meister should assembly one engine in few (5-6) minutes... Which is hard to believe! If these Meister exists, they should be more a supervisor!
But the legend is nice!
