My fav was the 69 z28 by Chevy and with the 454ci 4speed and 12 bolt rear end. Don't have a pic handy though. In a dark green thank you very much!! JIM

Actually, you're right. I did start with an Alfa. It was a '64 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I only have an 8mm movie of it but these pictures are the exact same car:




My father had bought it for my brother and I in 1968, my first year of college. After a few months, it had a slight coolent leak and my brother drove it withoug any water and blew the head gasket. My father had it repaired but sold the car soon afterwards. He became sick not long after and died a few years later. Things were really tough money wise for many years as I worked to put myself through college and drove basically junk cars. I still had the memory of the Alfa and saved up enough cash to buy the used 240Z Datsun from one of my friends. It took many years to get back into a nice car!!!! But you appreciate it so much more...............................Frankie
