Hi guys, I'm a kiwi in Dunedin NZ, just bought a silver '97 1.9 Z3. It's in great condition, 165k on the clock and got it for $4k which I thought was good. New wheels, just serviced and WOF. I always loved the shape of the Z3s and would have preferred a manual but they are like hens teeth... got a couple of buttons to replace and a wobbly passenger wing mirror to fix this weekend if it stops raining! Thanks 4 having me here - look forward to gaining some much needed knowledge!

@MartiRoweNZ

If those are the seats in your 1.9 in your avatar then it is a great spec.

I'm on the wrong side of the world for you, but if you need any spare parts ping me a message. I've sent small items to Australia before (never New Zealand though).

Lol...I'm hoping...so far it's a test of how much rain can it handle before the seats get wet! Still dry...for now

Yep they are the seats in it...no seatbelt guides though...not sure what to do there...thanks for the offer - I'll definitely keep you in mind!

Welcome from a newbie, i just yesterday bought the same setup for twice the money. My first 97 z3 was the 6cyl manual but I swear I didn't feel much different driving the 250 miles home except that I got nearly 40 mpg. I still have 3/8s of a tank!
