I am a lucky guy coz I recon I have just about the best Z3 in the world and the best girl in the World and we are to be Married out here in Hong Kong on May 1st. The question is, how can I continue to keep my Z3 in tip top condition (ie, continue to spend potentially buckets of money on it) while maintaining Marital bliss?... A very important question ...so here is what I am doing:

1. I give my Z3 to my wife as a wedding present
2. A prenuptial agreement will be signed to say that the Z3 must be maintained in it's current condition and may never be sold under any circumstances (even if I agree ...under duress)
3. Because I will be a good caring husband, I will ensure that her Z3 is kept in tip top condition
4. My future wife is learning to drive and will take the test in Automatic only (it is pure speculation that my Z3 was converted from Auto to Manual so she could not drive it)
5. As a good kind and caring husband, I am happy to drive her around in her Z3 anytime or if she would rather stay at home, I will even go as far as to drive it on my own to demonstrate my kindness and consideration.

Am looking forward to a happy Married life

Best wishes on your future marriage.
Start as you mean to go on though and agree your ground rules.

Both my wife and I have seperate bank accounts and also a joint bank account for the "housey, family stuff" where we both deposit an agreed amount every month.

My account is mine to do as I please, as is my wifes.

I hate shopping, so when we got married I bought my wife a car so that she could go and do the shopping on her own without me. Her car has been upgraded from the "family" pot whereas mine is self financed. Part of the agreement was that I don't moan about the food she cooks.

She's a great cook, so that was a no brainer.

We've been married 32yrs next month.

It's worked for us:cool:

All the best to you both, the arrangements you have planned for the Zed sounds spot on. Nice to know where your loyalties lie! Zed first, wifey second! Good work that man! Make sure she gives you £20 a week so you can nip out and fuel it up for her! :D

Hi PeterJ, hope the wedding went well! I have seen a thread from you in 2012 about looking for a stainless exhaust manifold for the 2.8. Did you ever find one? I am looking for the same for my 2.0 Any advice would be great.

Congrats to you both. We work thus; I bring home the bacon and the C-in-C manages it .......... period. I have a separate account allotted only to the Bella fund. At no point today, tomorrow or any time in the future will the C-in -C EVER drive Bella not even to take me to A&E. The C-in-C has her own car (Ford Galaxy) I know it's hers as it's the one with all the dents and scratches in. 27 not out though:highfive:

Hi Andy, I see you are in the UK so that means your Z3 is likely to be RHD same as mine in Hong Kong & there lies the problem. It seems nobody makes performance exhaust manifolds for RHD M52 2.8 anymore. They are available for LHD M52 2.8 ,but that is not much help! The only place I found was this Australian company http://www.motorsportsdownunder.com/ , but I did not order from them as they seem not very trustworthy with no contact address etc. The OEM M52 Exhaust manifold seems quite good anyway, so i decided to keep it
