following on from grumpys dilemma over wheels-

WIRE WHEELS, LOVE OR HATE?
 
Love the look, had some on a Spitfire many years ago. HATE to clean 'em.;)

E-Type, MG and alike but not newer cars for me.
 
I like them on the right car. I'd love some on my Zed
 
I think they would look awful on a Zed in fact seen them on a Zed and i don't like them at all

yep - its official, there marmite. im sitting on the like side:) though as already pointed out not such a good idea when its wash time.

I'm sitting in the don't like side as I would be the one cleaning them:(

I wouldn't say hate them but wouldn't put them on a zed, As retro as a zed looks its just not old enough for the wheels to compliment it in my opinion but as has been said many times ...each to their own.
 
I like them but for my zed I would go for a set with much heavier wires and not quite as many spokes, more like the old wire baskets used on 70's Cameros! JIM
 
Hate is a strong word, I think on a Z3 they are just wrong, on an E-Type they are just right, and on my mountain bike they are perfect...
 
On something 1960's or older then yes, anything after that...err noo_O:stop:
