This is an interesting set of data. It's the reliability index of car manufacturers based upon 3rd party warranty data. Need to apply the usual caveats, but, the data population is large enough to draw safe(ish) conclusions. Where do you expect BMW to be on the list?

Indeed, talking to a neighbour recently - he accidentally overheard the UK MD of LR discussing the rate of call-outs by their own support vehicles for new cars. Over 25% of new LRs end up with a call-out due to breakdown within their first twelve months. A number that he was quite rightly horrified at. Considering that cars under manufacturer warranty are not included here that is an horrific number.
