Hello,

BM Cat starting to rattle on my M44 - has anybody sourced an aftermarket cat converter recently that they can recommend please? Only doing low annual mileage these days.

My hard won experience is that only an OEM cat will work on the M44. Tried 3 well known aftermarket ones a few years ago without success. Your old OEM cat should be worth a couple of hundred in exchange (which says something) .Not cheap, but the only viable solution for a "proper" MOT pass IMO.

Thanks for comments. Had the car for 14 years and never had a problem with non-oem cats and MoT emissions.
However, agree with crap comment, only done 6700 miles on this BM one.
