Yes it will, for the Z3 you might get up to 340HP, it adds the sports suspension in the garage by itself over night, you may notice the cool sports seats, and it adds thousands of dollars of value onto the car. :)

BMW certainley thinks so, they loads of them on from the factory so as it's OEM it must be ok then?

Adding 'Performance' after the M makes it even faster and more valuable:

Best results when coupled with a 'd' model:

And wait for it OEM TYRE STRECH!

Its going to give the 'OEM only' fans a heart attack, many aftermarket 'eBay' add ons are better than what BMW is chucking out at big margins!

Did you know that it will also change your 4 banger diesel into a straight 6 petrol turbo?

Mine has M pedals, gear knob, steering wheel and gaiters. I think the M stands for Misguided previous owners :)

Oh the poor misguided, come back to the light...the ///M badge does not signify a performance BMW, it is a brand mark used by BMW to sell you more shiny tat at inflated prices, for which they brand with the ///M mark, you will note that we all have then on steering wheels and gear knobs in our Z3, you Z3 W@&£*#s... I say stick em on and hold your heads high, you know you all want them...

Quoted for truth Brother Zedonist!

It used to way back before the BMW marketing division decided to milk that little badge it for all it's worth. There has been much debate over the years as what the last true "///M" car was, and I think that honour either lies with the Z3 ///M Coupe or possibly the E46 M3. Anything past that date seems to have lost the true spirit of what made the earlier cars awesome.
