I charged up my battery the other day. It didn't seem to take the charge well so I charged it again with the terminals disconnected from the car and made sure the battery charger was well connected. It took the charge well, however, I couldn't start the car due to an anti-theft device (I suppose). The key turned around in the ignition without doing anything. The car seemed fully charged. What do I do?

Hey Frankie, do all the ignition lights come on when you turn the key on, but nothing happens when you turn it to the crank position? How long is it since you had the car started?

Tony.

Further to Tony's questions - do you mean it rotates through 360' with no resistance? if YES try rocking the steering wheel back and to as you turn the key.

Seems ok now. Key had done a 360 then operated correctly. Battery didn't hold the charge from last time. All dead. Got the charger on it now but I think I need a new battery. Have a battery tester somewhere. I'll try it tomorrow.
